I guess you don't have to go to school for eight years to learn that. Haggard is a very intelligent man and an incredible musician. A lot of folks discount country music (and it is called for in the contemporary Nashville scene... yuck) but when you start talking about the insights of a Merle Haggard, a Hank Williams, or a George Jones, you are talking about powerful insight into life.
