This essay is a brilliant and entirely correct engagement with ecclesiology in regard to the situation in the Anglican Communion. It is a must-read for everyone, especially low churchmen like myself.

Thanks, David. I would hate to have missed this, and I would have but for you.
I used to attend SEAD, but the acoustics are so terrible in that cathedral church that I could barely understand the speakers, so I gave it up.
Do you think Fitz is calling for a mass walkout right now? I hope not, for the enemy isn't misguided humans (ain't we all?) but sin, and it would walk with us in our very shoes to wherever we went.
I don't think he's calling for that, but I hate to put words in his mouth. The article was written a couple of years ago, so he might be even less friendly to unity now.
The tone is getting desperate with Falls Church and others being lab cases.
