The one thing I always appreciate about Luther is his unwillingness to fall into the limited atonement schema. Yet he maintains a monergistic soteriology in keeping with Scripture. I really believe he is right on here...
I would be inclined to think so, too, Dylan. Double predestination just wraps it up too neat and tidy. You just have to wonder how much you can do with a darkened intellect.
